DIAMOND EMULSION SPRAY, DIAMOND SUSPENSION, DIAMOND SLURRY
HIGH CONCENTRATION
Poltava Diamond Emulsion Spray is a superior quality stropping emulsion. Apply in conjunction with any stropping medium-linen, leather, balsa or felt. A fine mist of water based composition is sprayed onto your strop to reduce friction and heat buildup during cutting operations. This can extend the life of your knife and improve the quality of the cut surface. For those looking for that hair-splitting edge. Nothing will put a razor edge on your knife, like our Poltava Diamond Emulsion Spray.
This emulsion shows excellent non-drying(delayed drying) properties:
– Unlike other common water-based products on the market that dry out easily, this emulsion is very suitable for lapping as it can be used for a long time without particle clog and fixation(less impregnation) due to fast drying.
– It works really well on strop media that is harder than leather, like copper(half impregnation/half loose), cast iron, granite, CGSW hard strop.
– Excellent deburr properties in loose abrasive’s rolling abrasion mode.
Why it’s important:
As you know, once you apply diamond/CBN to leather, it will work almost forever. However, for non-absorbent surfaces, most emulsions will lose most of its abrasiveness when washed out -> frequent reapply required = higher consumption and higher costs.
Packaging: 40 gr.
Water based, you can dilute the spray with water
Grain size: Please select from the list
How to use: shake the emulsion well, if you still see residue on the bottom – It wouldn’t hurt to stir it with thin stick. Then spray a small amount on your strop and strop as you normally would.
Diamond concentration: HIGH, INCREASED
